Further, the researchers stress that some of the observed improvements in mood and mental wellbeing may be attributable to expectancies and other longitudinal confounds, and that more controlled scientific studies comparing microdosing with non-microdosing controls are needed.

She is one of a growing number of mothers who say they use these microdoses to boost their mood and energy, as well as their ability to focus, create, innovate and empathize with others.
She has seen her business double in the past year, and she and her husband Trevor, who runs an IT firm, are making $50,000 a month from their sales.
